Using a Ring You Already Own and Our Printable Guide

  1. Print this guide, ensuring your printer settings are set to 100% scale (actual size).
  2. Take a ring you already own—or one you’ve borrowed for a surprise engagement or gift—and place it over the sizing circles provided.
  3. Find the circle that best matches the inside edge of the ring. The sizes listed correspond to the ring’s inner diameter.
  4. If the ring falls between two sizes, choose the larger one for a better fit.

Important tip:

  • Keep band width in mind. Wider bands tend to feel tighter on the finger, so you may want to consider sizing up by half a size.

How to Measure Your Ring Size at Home

  1. Wrap a piece of string or a strip of paper around the base of your finger.
  2. Use a pen to mark where the ends meet.
  3. Lay the string or paper flat and measure the length (in millimeters) with a ruler.
  4. Divide that number by 3.14 (Pi) to calculate the diameter.
  5. Use the diameter to find the closest match on a ring size chart.
  6. Your ring should fit comfortably—tight enough to stay in place, but loose enough to slide over your knuckle without too
    much resistance.
  7. f your knuckle is larger than the base of your finger, measure both areas and choose a size that falls between the two
    measurements.
